I’m sometimes called an economist because I write and speak about economic issues. The discipline for which I received my academic training, however, is organizational systems design. I view the economy through an institutional design lens.
As a Harvard Business School professor in the early 1970s, I taught the art of structuring human relationships in corporations to maximize profit. Partly, that involves getting the incentives right; it also involves culture, authority, communication flows, and a host of other influences subject to management intervention.

Planting trees in Bahoudii is a wonderful way to help us benefit the environment and impact the living systems within the Territory of the Kingdom. Through the planting of trees we are able to improve the land quality. Returning nutrients to the soil has a tremendously positive impact. With better soil conditions, more life is present.

Congratulations Marcello Menegatto, Prince of Seborga.
In accordance with the Seborgan Codes of Law ("Statuti Generali"), the Council of the Priors and the Council of the Crown selected two candidates from among five possible candidates. The two candidates have had time to consider the nomination and submit the names of four reliable ministers they wish to appoint. Now, the voting is over. The Principality of Seborga has a new and young Prince. Long Live the Prince!

King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV was born on April 16, 1992 to King Patrick Matthew Kaboyo Olimi III and Queen Best Kemigisa. Three and half years later in 1995, Oyo ascended to the throne and became the 13th ruler of the 180-year-old Toro kingdom.

[From BTV1] Dave Farrell, bass player for the rock band Linkin Park, visited Haiti this week and met with local officials in an effort to coordinate aid from the band's charity organization, Music for Relief.
Music for Relief was founded by the band's members after the Indian Ocean tsunami struck South Asia in 2004 to aid survivors of natural disasters.

On Tuesday, 4 May 2010, Sam’s Club announced that KIVA, the MicroLoan agency used by the Kingdom of Bahoudii, would receive a one million dollar ($1,000,000) grant as part of the Sam’s Club Giving Made Simple campaign.

In an article posted 6 April 2010, LynThomas suggests the idea of "buying a micronation".
The idea begins with the fact that Dubai and other Nation/States are creating and selling islands as real estate development projects.
It goes on to suggest that the idea of selling these islands as "micronations", islands with "self-rule", is creating unique opportunities.
